Beginner - Textile paper stencil workshop
Service Description
Start your textile screen printing journey within a really relaxed, small class in my print studio located just outside sunny Strangford village in Co Down. You will hand cut paper stencils to create your own design for your silkscreen printed textile. At the class you will learn the basics of paper cut stencil making. We go through tools, textiles and inks with lots of useful anecdotes on best practice. Coming to a class helps beginners short circuit some common hurdles, you will make great quality prints on Irish linen and cotton, using the best inks and equipment. You will then have all the skills and knowledge to carry on printing when you get back home. You will be printing using silkscreen frames and squeegee's and very sharp scalpel knives, there is a lot of physical work in silkscreen printing and unfortunately at present at my studio I can only offer this class to over 18's with full body mobility. I hope in future to bring this class to accessibility supported venues. Please email me with any questions.

Cancellation Policy
Please note the following - our cancellation policy is now very strict. If you have to cancel attending a class the sooner you let me know the more chance I have of filling that space. Classes won't run if 3 or less are booked. New dates will be offered prior to the studio cancelling a class. If you cancel 72 hours or more in advance of class you get refund. Cancellation between 72 & 48 hours in advance of a class comes with a 50% retention of fee. Cancellation between 24hours and class start time, 75% retention of fee.
