Forest Floor Coffee Dates

This is an edition of 10. It is a lino print made using 4 separate carved blocks each printed one by one in sequence to create a four colour print. Each lino block was hand carved and hand printed by me in my studio located on the edge of a wood in rural Co Down, Ireland.  I really do believe a campfire coffee on a forest floor may be the best of all the places a coffee can be enjoyed. Each lino print is sent rolled in acid free tissue paper in a poster tube. Printed on Japanese Ho-Sho Printmaking paper, measuring 28 x 39 cms with the printed area at 20.5 x 30 cms.  Please study the image closely and see the evidence of the hand carving process, the little print lines are known as chatter/noise adding a particularly apt 'flying sparks' element to this piece.
